Top 14 Yaoi Manga
Hi everyone!
Today I thought I'd share my top 14 (I couldn't cut it down to 10 :3) Yaoi Manga today to get this blog started.
Enjoy!
14. Love Stage!! - Eiki Eiki and Zaou Taishi
This cutsie manga and anime features Izumi who is surrounded by a rockstar family, yet doesn't want to follow in their footsteps and join the show business. Instead, he wants to be a manga artist ... except he sucks (don't tell him that though :3).
At first he and Ryouma don't want to fall in love with each other but once Ryouma figures out his long awaited bride (being Izumi) isn't a girl, he doesn't take long to fall for this cutie and persuade him to give him a chance.
13. Gosan no Heart - Ogawa Chise
This manga is a bit more rough than Love Stage!! but is still cute and has a nice story line (it also leads to a side story with Udou's brother).
Miki helps out Udou from breaking it off with a girl and to spare them both the trouble of other girls coming up to them to ask either of them out, Miki suggests for them to begin dating. At first Miki seems to be pulling Udou along but soon realises that without Udou, nothing is complete.
12. Crimson Spell - Yamane Ayano
This manga features Prince Val who saved his kingdom but now has to save himself from the demon in the sword he held. To do so, he was led to Havi, a magician and they go on a journey together to help Val. Along the way the demon awakens when Val is asleep and the only way to calm him, Havi finds, is to seduce him. :3
11. Leopard Hakusho - Ougi Yuzuha
This manga artist's work you will recognise anywhere by the way the art is drawn. I wasn't big fan but I've gotten used to it and I love the story line and the characters.
Aya is a host at the club, Leopard, and his panda eyes attract the wealthy Shingyouji who offers him money for one night. Little did Aya know that he would be manipulated to fall in love with this handsome, possessive man.
10. Katekyo! - Moegi Yuu
This is one of the first yaoi mangas that I read and let's just say, thank goodness I did. Katekyo! is cute romance manga that is beautifully drawn and stars Rintarou and Kaede. Kaede is Rin's tutor and Rin slowly falls in love with him only to find that Kaede loved him back from the very beginning. The pair's relationship journeys through jealously, possessiveness and hot, steamy love which will leave you craving for more. ;)
9. Kokoro Series - Kanda Neko
I have to say, this is one of the cutest and romantic yaoi mangas I have ever read. Jun cares for Saki as he passes out one day heading home but when Jun doesn't want any money in return and only asks for Saki's company, Saki realises that this young man is possibly the most cutest guy he's ever met.
8. Ten Count - Takarai Rihito
To be honest, this is one of the yaoi mangas that I always saw on lists but always skipped over... don't ask me why, cause I have no idea :/
However, once reading it, I found it to be really romantic and cute and it has a different storyline which makes it interesting. Shirotani has Mysophobia and he agrees when Kurose offers to help him treat it. Moving incredibly slowly, Shirotani begins to be able to touch things with his bare hands and ever so slowly begins to grave Kurose's touch.
7. Super Lovers - Abe Miyuki
This is a yaoi that you will all fall in love with, regardless of the genre. When visiting his mother, Haru meets his 'brother', Ren, that she adopted and is told to civilise him and against all odds, they form a bond. Years later after an accident and Haru has lost his memories of this time in Canada, Ren comes to Japan to take Haru up on his promise and Haru, even though he doesn't remember this kid, becomes possessive of him and falls in love.
Even though this seems like an incest yaoi, it technically isn't so don't let that stop you from reading this awesome manga that has been announced to become an ANIME!! I'm sooo excited! XD
6. Warui Series - Sakuraga Mei
Okay, I'm calling this one a series because it's long as ... but every single one is so worth it :3!
The first storyline features Towa a delinquent and the dumbest kid in school who captures the eye of Mikado, the School President. It's a typical love story but it's cute and is addictive... I mean, I've read this dozens of times :D
5. Kuroneko Kareshi Series - Sakyou Aya
This manga I'm also calling a series and currently is has 5 novels, not including the spinoff. This is another that I've read numerous times and let's just say, the smut in this is :O :) It's good :P
Shingo is a domestic werecat who captures the attention of leopard werecat and popular actor, Kakami. Kakami trains Shingo's body to crave his touch and Shingo becomes the sexiest guy you'll ever see :P
4. Sekaiichi Hatsukoi by Nakamura Shungiku
This manga artist is amazing, I mean, my number one on this list is also Nakamura Shungiku and it has also been made into an anime!
Onodera Ritsu gets the job at a publishing house where his high school boyfriend, Takano Masamune is the Chief Editor! When they realise who the other is, Takano promises to make Ritsu fall for him again and the countdown begins :3
3. Totally Captivated by Yoo Ha Jin
This manga is actually by a Korean artist and it is realllly good!
Ewon Jung get forced to work for Mafia boss Mookyul, who happens to be his childhood crush. Their relationship takes many twists and turns but the storyline keeps you intrigued and totally captivated ;)
2. Viewfinder by Yamane Ayano
Viewfinder is down to earth, amazing. I cannot stress enough about how good it is.
Sure the smut is a bit hardcore but that just adds to its awesomeness :3
Takano Akihito is a freelance photographer who is ALWAYS in the wrong place at the wrong time. He sees things he shouldn't, not to mention he does things he shouldn't but that just leads him to Yakuza Asami Ryuichi. Their love is a slow one but equally strong. They would do anything for each other and seeing Takaba submit to Asami is cute :3
1. JunJou Romantica by Nakamura Shungiku
At number one, I have chosen Junjou Romantica! Again, it's by Nakamura Shungiku and is both an anime and a manga.
Misaki is the cutest character I have ever seen and I love him to bits (and the chibi of him is the cutest and funniest thing I have ever seen) and he ends up living with millionaire novelist, Usami Akihiko. From being in love with Misaki's brother, Usagi-san is captivated by Misaki and realises that he cannot live his life without him. This my friends, is probably one of the most romantic Yaoi manga and animes you will ever read or watch and I recommend it to EVERYONE!!!

Newbie!
Hey all!
A few years ago my brother convinced me to watch an anime... to be honest, in the beginning I was a bit sceptical about watching one of these 'anime' that he was obsessed with but I ended up watching it anyway. . .
. . . AND I WAS HOOKED!!
At first I watched all the ones he watched including One Piece, but then when I wanted to know what happened next and began reading the manga, I got more adventurous.
I began searching and searching different mangas and (don't ask me how) stumbled upon yaoi ...
... Let's just say, I found an obsession. :3
So, after a while of reading hundreds of different mangas, most of them yaoi, and watching many animes, I have decided to create a blog and share all these wonderful Japanese comics and movies with you guys!
Now bear with me, I've started blogs before but dropped them as I wasn't that into them but now that I've found a hobby that I can easily share with you guys, hopefully everyone will enjoy it.
